A great example comes from Albany Transport, who recently commissioned our 18–26 tonne model to process a stockpile of reinforced concrete. The unit — offering over 150 tonnes of crushing force and a maximum jaw opening just under 1000mm — made light work of 500mm-thick concrete slabs and steel reo up to 30mm. The result? Faster processing, reduced wear on their small mobile jaw crusher, and significantly improved efficiency.
“It does blocks 500mm thick, no problem,” said Grant Lansdowne, General Manager at Albany Transport. “It crushes concrete without any resistance at all — I can’t fault it.”
These pulverisers feature a straightforward, heavy-duty build that allows operators to perform their own maintenance using basic tools and hard-facing techniques. They’re also ideal for removing reo bars before material hits the crusher — preventing belt and component damage further down the line.
